We are so grateful you're making the trip to celebrate with us! Here are a few helpful details to make sure you’re all set for a smooth and comfortable wedding day.

Dress Code

Our celebration will be Formal Attire — suits, tuxedos, and formal dresses are encouraged.

Ladies: Since the ceremony and reception will be held on grass, we recommend block heels, wedges, or comfortable flats.

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, so the bride can shine on her special day. Thank you for understanding!

Weather

The wedding will take place outdoors along the river in the Delta area of Walnut Grove. Late September days are typically warm, but the Delta breeze can bring cooler temperatures in the evening. We suggest bringing a light jacket or wrap so you're cozy once the sun sets.

Transportation & Parking

Shuttles will be running from downtown Sacramento to the venue and back.

Departure: The first shuttle leaves at 2:45 PM from the Hyatt Regency (1209 L Street). Shuttles will also stop at the Kimpton Sawyer to pick up guests staying there. Everyone should be ready to board by 2:45 PM, regardless of which hotel you’re at. The last shuttle will leave at 3:00 PM.
Return: Shuttles will begin departing the venue at 10:00 PM, with the last shuttle leaving at 10:15 PM. Return shuttles will stop at the Kimpton Sawyer before heading back to the Hyatt Regency.

For those driving, parking will be available at the venue. Please note: the drive follows a scenic two-lane highway along the river — allow a little extra time for a smooth and relaxed arrival.
